Born in 1981 in Lagos State, Nathaniel Bassey is a Nigerian pastor, father, worship leader, singer, trumpeter and gospel songwriter popularly known for his songs “Imela”, “Onise Iyanu”, and “Olowogbogboro.”

Actually, over the years, he has established himself as one of the prominent and most listened-to gospel ministers in Nigeria and Africa in general.

With that said, the first time I heard this song, something unusual happened to me. The spirit ministered to me when I first heard this song in 2010 and I remember the tear rolling down my cheeks without control. That day I gave my life to Christ without second thought.
